I'm looking for a 1986 issue of Scientific American
I know that someone out there has been grimly holding on to their collection of Scientific American magazines just waiting for this day...

Hi there. Let me be the first to wish you a very happy Friday (or whatever day it happens to be as you are reading this blog). Here's the deal, I've been pointed toward an article that appeared in Scientific American magazine in 1986. The article in question is:
The Colors of Things
Scientific American, Vol.255.3, pp. 84-91;
Brou, Philippe, Sciascia, and Linden
I tried to find it online, but to no avail, so then I thought to myself: "Maybe a reader of Programmable Logic DesignLine just happens to have a spare copy lying around..."
PS I just saw a great quote: "Give me a helical lever and a place to stand and I will screw the world." – Jerome Ysroael Lettvin.
I know how he feels (grin).
